Everyone loves tacos, amirite? Chances are you follow us foodies in hopes of finding the best taqueria to make all your taco dreams come true! So instead of letting you ask the blogger- on this series- I did the dirty work and found out the goods myself!

So here are our favorite taco spots in San Antonio as told by some of your favorite taco foodies!

San Antonio Munchies- Taquitos West Ave

Hailing from the Valley there’s one thing Alex knows for sure and that’s tacos, “If you’re looking to satisfy all your Mexican food cravings, Taquitos West Ave. will have you drooling! With a simple menu that stays true to its street taco roots and late night hours on the weekends, it’s common for this place to be packed,” says Alex of San Antonio Munchies

Stine.Eats- Ay Que Rico

While she didn’t really grow up eating tacos, Christine of Stine.Eats says Ay Que Rico Tacos are her fave. “They make these shrimp tacos that are soooo tasty. In my opinion, they’re the best in the city and always really fresh- and that’s important.”

taqueria datapoint

Westley_Arredondo- Taqueria Datapoint

Taqueria Datapoint is my top favorite Taqueria in San Antonio for several reasons. They offer a variety of affordable Mexican food dishes that leaves your appetite satisfied. What they’re really known for is their street tacos with 6 different types of fillings that you can mix. The restaurants stay open till 12:30 weekdays and 3am on weekends for those late night hunger strikes for something other than fast food!” The new foodie is a huge fan of the bar scene so it’s good to know where to go after they close.

Tasting San Antonio- El Rodeo de Jalisco

Marlynn is more of a practical taco fan and chose El Rodeo de Jalisco because “they have something for everyone. It’s really good and their prices are really reasonable.”

la maceta tapatios san antonio

Alcoholic Anecdotes- La Maceta Tapatios

La Maceta Tapatios is her fave. This patio beer’s girl loves that they’re always nearby and their menu is perfect for those late nights.

San Antonio LoveList- Tacos la Salsita

So I’ll agree with the tacos listed above because hey- a girl loves her tacos- but truth be told I’m in love with a taco truck on the Westside of San Antonio. On Marbach Rd, you’ll find in a dirt lot a taco truck named Tacos la Salsita. They’re super cheap- which is code for more tacos. The lines get crazy long but trust me they’re worth it.
